The USA Today confirmed the divorce suite between the celebrity couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The couple who were in relationship since 2004 and officially married in 2014 are now hitting the rocks. The reason cited was family health according to the attorney Robert Offer. The attorney made it clear, that Jolie would not be available for comment and the family be given privacy during such hard times. Brad Pitt 52 and Jolie 41 are parents of six children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Vivienne, Shiloh and Knox. Jolie has applied for physical custody of all the six children. Commenting on this to the People, Pitt said that he is saddened by the events and added it was done keeping the well being of the kids in mind. He wanted the press respect their privacy.

The couple in love for 12 years were the center of attraction be it the red carpet or international events. The announcement of their wedding came as a surprise that took place in Chateau Miraval in France. Married to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton earlier, Jolie revealed that their children wrote the vows for the wedding ceremony. Pitt was earlier married to Jennifer Aniston. It may be noted that the Jolie-Pitt acted in Mr and Mrs Smith as spy couple after which Pitt announced his divorce with Aniston.
